Milwaukee Bucks Injury Report: Middleton Out for Saturday's Game

Antetokounmpo Returns After Hamstring Issue

Latest News and Updates on Player Injuries

MILWAUKEE – Milwaukee Bucks star Khris Middleton will not play in Saturday's game against the Denver Nuggets due to a groin strain, according to The Athletic's Eric Nehm.

Middleton sustained the injury in Sunday's 122-109 loss to the New York Knicks. He left the game midway through the second quarter after being hit in the mouth by Knicks guard Donte DiVincenzo.

The Bucks have been without Middleton for several games this season, as he has struggled with injuries. He missed 10 games in November with a left knee injury and has also dealt with a sprained ankle.

In Middleton's absence, Grayson Allen has stepped up and filled in admirably. Allen is averaging 15.3 points per game and shooting 40% from three-point range this season.

The Bucks are currently 47-27 and second in the Eastern Conference. They will face the Nuggets (48-26) on Saturday at 8 p.m. CT.

Other Bucks Injuries:

  • Giannis Antetokounmpo (left hamstring) - Probable
  • Pat Connaughton (right calf) - Out
  • Wesley Matthews (right knee) - Out
