Erik ten Hag is confident that common sense will prevail as Manchester United chiefs consider his future following a rollercoaster season at Old Trafford.
The Dutchman has guided the Red Devils to Carabao Cup glory and into contention for a top-four finish in the Premier League.
But United have endured a number of setbacks along the way, including a humiliating 7-0 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.
Club chiefs are considering Ten Hag's position, with Mauricio Pochettino and Luis Enrique among the potential candidates to replace him.
But Ten Hag is confident that he will be given the time to turn things around at Old Trafford.
"I am confident in my team and I am confident in my players," said Ten Hag.
"We have made progress this season and we are heading in the right direction.
"I am confident that we can continue to improve and achieve success in the future."
